Polyurethane Tufflex Screen

Tufflex is a polyurethane coated stainless steel wire rope screen with the same open area as woven wire, offering significant advantages over traditional screens.

The Tufflex screen consists of two types of ropes welded together:

• Tension rope: Wire rope with thick polyurethane coating that allows standard tensioning without machinery modifications
• Stratification rope: Fine synthetic cord with polyurethane coating that improves screening efficiency by channeling material

This polyurethane-coated screen media can replace traditional woven wire screens with minimal deck adjustments. Available in various rope/wire diameters and aperture sizes, Tufflex offers:

• Customization through partially or fully welded screen cloths
• Smooth polyurethane surface that prevents sticking and blinding
• Flexible cloth construction for enhanced performance

• Aperture sizes: 1.5mm to 45mm (square and rectangular)
